In my experience visiting Quebec City and observing Quebecers - in general they are Great polite, industrious, hardy, fun people.
However, socialist indoctrination over the last fifty years has made them quite looney.
They love their 55% tax rate, “free” medical care, restrictions on free speech, ban on guns & pepper spray, and welcome with open arms the whole third world to immigrate there. Everything there is terribly expensive.
They adore hypocritical global ecologists, like David Susuki (sp?) who lecture them on the need to get by on less.
And are conditioned to instinctively hate any consideration of conservative point of view.
