Uh-oh! Texas Gov. Greg Abbott struck a nerve here:
In comments at the Summit of the Americas in Panama City, President Obama pointed out dark chapters in our own [Americas] history.
While criticizing the U.S. in comments abroad doesnt sit well with many Americans (especially when those comments are delivered in front of leaders of regimes that are human rights nightmares), Abbott kicked a hornets nest full of those who want him to leave Obama alone:
A landslide is not almost 50-50 (56/47)
Over the target. The GOP needs some attack dogs to focus on Zer0, tie him to H!. Others to go after H! and the rats in Congress.
Just want everyone to know that Christy Lee does not speak for all Pokes fans. She/He/It speaks for very few of us actually.
> A landslide is not almost 50-50 (56/47)
Yeah and with massive voter fraud and manipulation at that...
If they don’t want their feelers hurt maybe they shouldn’t back an {expletive} who trashes America and gets called on it. It only hurts so much and strikes such a nerve because they know it’s true. You can easily tell that because they cannot refute what the good Governor said. Instead they issue venomous personal attacks and deflect the attention and debate elsewhere. bammy has a long history of trashing America and he gets called on it, end of story.
It was more of a mudslide.
I don’t understand our current “leaders” utilizing the twiterverse. Do they really expect meaningful debate or discussion of anything on there? Governor Abbot, don’t you have some gun legislation that needs your signature. Forget about twitter. Geeze......
THAT was a national shame....
Liberals... if you can't take it, then you need to STFU yourselves!
Truthfully, Twitter is not a forum for adults, but for adolescents, the emotionally immature, the defiling anarchist, and “defective unit Democrats”.
Greg Abbott could write a multipage essay saying the same thing, and it would have been published in a dozen different adult-oriented forums, but throwing a half-liner out on Twitter is as wasted as making noises at a zoo chimp arena.
And throw in the Ohio, Penn., Floriduh cheat votes, just enough to push it over the edge.
Noting that this Twitter is the worst of the worst online scummies, who can hide in Mommy’s basement and say anything regardless of honesty or civility, incognito. Happy to never twit.
The darkest chapter in American history was allowing a POS like Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. into to usa to breed.
I doubt you needed to post that, but I certainly understand. Oklahoma is a pretty solid red state, so the thought never entered my mind.
“I dont understand our current leaders utilizing the twiterverse.”
Unfortunately that’s where the voters are. The leftists in the educational establishment have dumbed down the public by replacing critical thinking with Leftist indoctrination so what would you expect to happen. Attention spans have been shortened by TV programming so people react reflexively instead of analytically-like Pavlovian dogs.
I agree that Twitter is a way to make a quick comment which has no depth. But maybe it is OK for conservatives to use it. Democrats certainly do, and that is how they hook all these dimwit young voters into being liberals. At some point we conservatives have to ‘get in the game’.
