Hillary Clinton supporters are reportedly aiming to raise $2.5 billion for her 2016 presidential bid. According to a New York Times report, Clinton’s campaign will likely “cost more than any presidential bid waged before,” with her supporters “looking to raise as much as $2.5 billion in a blitz of donations from Democrats who overwhelmingly support her candidacy.”

It would take $2.5B or more to elect Hillary. The problem is that might be enough to make it happen. Sadly, FedGov is a huge, wasteful behemoth, well worth buying for that price, if you’re an insider who gets rich off the fraud, waste, and abuse. As a real American, I’m cheering for Ted Cruz and hoping he will slash FedGov down to a size that is no longer worth buying with insider money.

If she fails to raise $2.5 billion, will she be declared a failure?

It was probably already raised by the $750 billion dollar fake bailout of the financial industry or maybe the bailout of the auto industry.

What a waste of money. So many people it could help.

She has no viable primary opponent so she will be in general campaign mode for the next 18 months. The massive figure is probably to knock out O’Malley.

$2.5 billion without even having to run against somebody in the primary? I wonder what can be done with campaign funds that are not used. Probably goes to the Clinton foundation.

I call the campaign stash the candidates get to keep their ‘retirement fund.’ It is really a racket. That may be why so many of them run - to pad their pockets at the end.

That's what people said eight years ago. Even Obama's people thought he was running to get his name in the national discussion for a VP slot of to compete in 2012/2016. Hillary is simply difficult to like, even with $2.5B on her side.

What was the amount of money gone missing from the State dept during Hillary’s tenure? Wasn’t that in the neighborhood of $2.5 billion?

I figure that money is safely stashed overseas, ready to come washing back as small unverified credit card donations from Gaza, a la Obama’s campaign funding bonanza.

Oh Geez, here we go again, Hillary and her “Connections”. Donate a few million and we’ll see what we can do for you when elected.

Keep in mind, much of this $$$ will go directly to the MSM in advertising.
This is the real reason the MSM wants to promote politics.
They get $$$ from both sides and get paid to sabotage candidates they don’t like
