State Dep’t: Concerns About Iran’s Ballistic Missiles ‘Don’t Go Away’ Even If Nuke Deal Happens

The State Department said Wednesday that U.S. concerns about Iran’s ballistic missile program will remain, even if a final agreement on Iran’s nuclear program is implemented.

“As we’ve said, we have concerns about Iran’s conventional weapons, including ballistic missiles, separate from the nuclear program, obviously,” said spokeswoman Marie Harf. “That doesn’t go away—those concerns don’t go away with the nuclear agreement.” […]

On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in another pointed attack on the nuclear agreement asked on his Twitter feed: “Why doesn’t the framework address Iran’s intercontinental ballistic missile program whose sole purpose is to carry nuclear payloads?” …

Concern....yeah like in 1937 when Germany announced a big upgrade to their postal service....requiring the building of thousands of large cargo carrying airplanes.....with special doors that allow quick delivery of the “packages”

So Harf just wants to make sure we separate the concept of nukes from the concept of ballistic missiles from the concept of a country screaming “death to America” and “Israel must die”?

They’re insuring peace in the region by helping insure that the Iranians have jobs in the aerospace and nuclear industries.
