Saudi Arabia's highest religious authority has issued a fatwa allowing a starving man to eat his wife in order to save himself, causing a stir among the Kingdom's residents, London-based daily al-Quds al-Arabi reported.
Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh, according to the report, said that the act would display the wife's obedience to her husband and her willingness to become one with his flesh.
Saudi Twitter users quickly took to the social network to express their shock at the strange fatwa attributed to the Grand Mufti.
Following the report Saudi media accused Iranian media of fabricating the fatwa, noting that the fatwa was not on the official's website.

Feminists respond by saying its OK for them to eat women as long they do not refuse to serve them cake and pizza.
PSSST... Hey feminists and gays, you are fighting the wrong religion.
And here I thought I couldn’t be thrown outta my chair anymore! Last time I checked, Saudi Arabia was one of the most OIL RICH nations in the bleeping world. Why is this man driven to the point of considering cannibalism in such a place??? Inquiring minds (and growling stomachs) want to know!
Remember now boys,
John Wayne Gacey said that the meat under you Bicep, lightly fried in peanut oil is the tastiest part of the human anatomy.
It’s about time. I’ll take a blonde rare with a side of brunette.
Michelle says, if the Hijab fits, wear it.
Some appearances are improved by having most the face covered in fabric.
I’d rather starve, and what the Hell happened to her face!? What is that thing!?
“Do the Humpty Hump”
Is that because cows don't put salt on their food ?
So Saudi Arabia claims that Iran fabricated the story to embarrass the Grand-Mufti. It does have an “onion-like” quality to it.
But it just points to the larger issue. Who has “authority” in Islam? Well, there are respected Imams, Muftis or Mullahs. But their authority is really national or cultural. Maybe they are government appointed. Maybe they lead a particular sect or tribe, or maybe they just claim to represent themselves. As long as they claim to represent the Koran (and if they have enough money or guns) they will be listened to.
It simply shows - you can not “reform” Islam, because there is path to reforming it.
Seems reasonable... who are we to judge?
LOL Probably
That must've been before the L'Oreal gal got a hold of her.
Or maybe it was after.
However, the fake story was taken seriously by pro-Iranian website al-Jumohouria, which carried the story without backing it with any evidence or specifying where or when such alleged fatwa had been issued.
I was going to post a picture of Medusa and then scream AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH as I ran away, but I can't even do that, because Medusa here is WAY BETTER LOOKING :O
Well at least finally someone will be satisfied.
What is it with some women who only moisturize the face and forget about the rest of their body?
Is that because cows don’t put salt on their food ?
First you eat some grass (clover is especially tasty), then get to the salt lick. It all goes to the same place.
Hope they get Kuru.
Looks like Fidel!
