The Catholic Church has already admitted that abortion is not morally wrong. Cardinals Wuerl, Dolan, O’Malley, and DiNardo, and Archbishops Chaput, Cupich, Gomez, and McElroy, and all but about a dozen American bishops are all on record: Pro-abortion Catholic must be given Communion. The ONLY logical conclusion that can be drawn from this is that abortion is NOT an evil.
The Pope has made crystal clear: He sides with those bishops who give Communion to pro-aborts. He promotes those bishops and demotes those who disagree.
If any Catholic bishop in America objects to being forced to provide abortions for illegal aliens, he doesn’t have a leg to stand on.
