Much-anticipated challenger to U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ), state Senator Kelli Ward (R-Lake Havasu City) announced early Thursday that she is officially exploring a 2016 run for the U.S. Senate.
Ward supporters have been strongly encouraging state Senator and military wife Ward to run. In a message to supporters, Ward relayed, “I am receiving huge support from the grassroots.”

Oh I’m sure the brilliant minds in Arizona will find some stupid thing she has done, perhaps one or two examples, so they can support McCain for another six years.
That’s what they did in 2010.
If they couldn’t see McCain for what he was then, it’s a certainty they won’t grasp reality today either.
I expect Democrats not go get it, but it sure rubs me the wrong way to see people who should get it on our side, blow it as bad as they did in 2010.

Kelli Ward looks very good to this conservative; she is defying our Turncoat Republican Gov. Ducey after he switched to support of Common Core. Moreover she is a family MD who switched to ER coverage to spend more time on her governmental responsibilities.
I did not support Juan McCain last time that he ran, and will definitely oppose him in 2016. Many AZ conservatives abhor him, so there will be nomination challengers.
Juan will trumpet his Chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee. Lots of military in this state.
Palin better not support McNut this time around.
I would hope Sarah has fulfilled her obligation to McCain by now. She has to be able to see how damaging he is to the country.

We should find a Tea Party person to run in the Dem primary to keep the Dems from voting for McCain in the Republican primary. Then if McCain still wins the Primary, Aeizonans have a choice for Senate.

Yes and she is an Article V proponent...
She is more aligned with Republican Constitutional Conservatives like Levin and Cruz to mention two the Senator from AZ.
If she does not support McCain that would be a metaphorical shot heard around the word and talked about in the endemedia for week(s) and be a further warning to the E-GOP we aren't going away this election cycle or are going to take a back seat.
The E-GOP needs to stalk up on Aspirin and Mylanta, for us we will grab the popcorn, this will be good....
