A high-ranking Secret Service supervisor was placed on administrative leave Wednesday after a female employee alleged that he assaulted her after-hours at agency headquarters last week.

The allegations come weeks after agents were accused of driving a car into a bomb-investigation scene after a night of partying. The latest incident also involved a party attended by agency employees -- the supervisor and the female employee allegedly were involved in a struggle after the party, and the sex crimes unit of the District's police department reportedly is looking into the incident.

The Secret Service said the supervisor, identified as 48-year-old Xavier Morales, had his security clearance suspended after "allegations of misconduct and potential criminal activity."

You get the impression that after 9-11...with so many new positions created in the FBI, Homeland Security and Secret Service...they basically went through all the four-star potential recruits...then got down into the three-star recruits...and then hired some less-than-marginal two-star recruits...pressing some them up into management positions.

It kinda reminds me of the NBA...where so many teams are loaded with less-than-talented people and you ask yourself why you’d pay $75 for a decent ticket?

What is it with the Secret Service and Democrat administrations?

They run wild, no respect in both directions.

Is our 2nd Lt. boy still set on getting in to this skunk of a Service? Seems he’d be better suited as a US Marshall.

Not only hiring lesser candidates but factor in the obvious morale issue working for a administration you know really hates you and your country. It has to be worse than working for Slick Willy and Malificent.

sounds like a ‘he said - she said’ situation. perhaps she wanted that assignment and this was thee easiest way to get him out of the picture? i mean they were together...

in wonder why they would go to the office after the party rather than someplace else?

“The Secret Service is an agency that demands that our employees conduct themselves with the highest level of integrity.”

Apparently Clancy does not watch the news. The Secret Service is a joke at this point.

Hookers, drugs, assaults, oh my.

Plus, apparently they can't drive either...

Kinda reminds me of the Kennedys.

Far too many problems for a ‘small’ agency (6500 total).
Most of the problems appear with the unit that works with POTUS.

After years of cram down, ‘we need to reflect the face of America’; but not with numerical accuracy.

Also being craped on day after day.

Now the results are in, a leaderless dysfunctional unit.

To be “assaulted,” according to the law, a person need not be touched. Yet, the use of “assault” as a euphemism for “rape” is so common, one must read ‘way down into a story to find out what actually happened—if they ever tell you.
