To: Attention Surplus Disorder
I didn't think Romney had any appeal, but lo and behold — we ended up with him in 2012.

The party elite will do its utmost to get Jeb the nomination even if it has to mount a smear campaign against the other candidates or even commit voter fraud. I'm not naive enough to think that such dirty practices are the exclusive domain of the Democrats.

So if we want Ted as our standard bearer, we have to first fight and defeat the Republican elites before we can even begin to fight the commie Democrats.

To me, that’s in essence running 1.8 campaigns. One to defeat the Dems and one to defeat the GOP. Given the energy input, I would say the odds are about 1:3 relative to just getting behind the candidate “we” really want. Jeb will go away all on his own when the early polls come out.

Regardless, Jeb goes down to defeat no matter what.
