I refer to it as the “Greater Depression”.
The middle class got itself into trouble trying to maintain a certain standard of living using debt to replace falling wages; now that those lessons have been learned and homes lost, the younger people know better to commit o anything (including families, house/car payments, school loans, etc.). We are now trafficking the Third World here to make up for the shortfall in all of those areas; we don’t need workers, we need CONSUMERS. Without them whole states (including mine - NJ) would be shutting down, and no Dem politician is going to watch masses of schoolteachers go on the dole. They need them for funding, and don’t care if they are teaching classrooms of 100 Asians/Mexicans apiece.
We are basically “Dead Country Walking” at this point.
