it’s even worse than I thought.
I went to a seminar and the speaker has done lots of research - average age of the end of adolescence in men is something like 28-29 now. Due in part to weak family structures, diverse options in beliefs, society open to all sorts of values, and the rapid media.
Back in the day, when I guy hit 13 or 14 he KNEW who he was (he was from THIS tribe, they held THESE beliefs, HIS profession would be that of his fathers, etc).
I know some guys that are married and have kids that are STILL in adolescence.
