Hezbollah leader hails last week's framework deal, says it will allow Iran to back its terrorist proxies 'more than any time in history.'
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has hailed last week's framework deal over Iran's nuclear program, saying it will serve to strengthen the Islamic Republic's position in the Middle East.
"Iran will become richer and wealthier and will also become more influential," he told Syria's Al-Ekhbariya TV in a live interview Monday night, in comments translated by Lebanon's The Daily Star.
Such as scenario "will also reinforce the position of its allies," he added.
"A stronger and wealthier Iran, in the coming phase, will be able to stand by its allies, and especially the Palestinian resistance, more than at any other time in history," Nasrallah remarked.
The comments essentially echo warnings by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders, who argue that western powers are making a "historic" error by separating the issue of the Iranian nuclear program from Tehran's regional aggression.

Israel is Poland before WWII. Only lets hope that Israel is better prepared. They certainly have the capability to defend themselves. But maybe not forever.
I am very worried that that world, the US included, will turn its back on Israel. Lets hope not for everyones sake.
Yikes!
True and clearly the power elite is not interested in anything that Nasrallah has to say.
Just like the GOPe does listen when Demorat operatives say
amnesty will ensure “rat majorities” at most levels of government for many years to come.
In this zero(pun intended)-game, at least one, if not two or more, countries become poorer and deader.
“Israel is Poland before WWII.”
And Obama setting the stage for WW3.
Yup.
And like Germany and the Nazis, Iran will violate the treaty (if there ends up being one which includes Congress), and the world and in this case the UN, will look the other way or pass meaningless resolutions like they did with Iraq seventeen times. People will wring their hands and complain but do nothing.
And there will be a war; a nuclear war starting in the middle east. It probably won’t be started by Iran directly but by some Iranian proxy.
That is of course, if Iran doesn’t use their nukes against Isis or Saudi Arabia first.
It doesn’t bode well for the world.
Fat boy and little mo
Have no idea why Israel even listens to Western leaders anymore. It always ends up with Israeli’s being walked into gas chambers.
