On Marriage: Never Give In. Never, Never, Never…

The battle raging over religious liberty on several fronts across the U.S. has been quite revealing. Most telling are the lengths to which liberals continue to go to ensure that the homosexual agenda roars on undeterred. As Ross Douthat has alluded, the political and cultural melee we’ve endured the last several days is because the perversion on marriage wrought by liberals has prospered to the point that an ever growing number of Americans have found themselves in the crosshairs of today’s gaystapo.

Too late.

Leading Conservatives Call on Apple to Pull Out of Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iran Until They Stop Torturing Their Gay Citizens

The right wing (not conservative, more European in nature) surrendered long ago on marriage, when it used the government to stomp on fatherhood. Have fun. Enjoy the slide.

RE:”As Tobin Grant noted on the Washington Post recently, “In the 20 years since RFRA became federal law, there has not been a single case in which a person successfully used RFRA to get around civil rights laws.” And if SSM is legal in a state (as the liberal courts ensured in Indiana), it is a “civil right.” In spite of this, liberals insist that such legislation is nothing more than a license to “discriminate.”

Then what is the law for?

Exactly. I know for a fact the author of this piece asked that very question of the attempt at RFRA in Georgia.

We should ALWAYS draw their attention back to the REAL issue: they are vastly overemphasizing a relatively minor cultural/societal issue (homosexual rights and marriage) and ignoring a widespread, egregious problem of their own making: the purposeful breakdown of the traditional family and tragedy it has brought on the children of our nation.

Radical leftists/ commies, address the REAL injustice and tragedy, not exceptionally limited problem that you trumped up out of thin air!!!!!!!!!

And why do you think that is?

If you think that winning an election wins you the game, you haven’t been paying attention on how the rules of the game have changed.

“Community organizing” I.e. “community agitation “ is how the game is played. In your face activism is the way you win the game - until our side learns that lesson, we’ll be losers even when we win elections.

There’s few politicians that have the backbone to take the attacks dished out by the left while we sit on our asses watching as they get savages. Why don’t we support them by taking to the streets ourselves and getting in the faces of our opponents?

” If you think that winning an election wins you the game, you haven’t been paying attention on how the rules of the game have changed.”

You must have missed my tagline, posted Nov.10th of last year.

“Why don’t we support them by taking to the streets ourselves and getting in the faces of our opponents?”

I have been advocating this for years. Nothing else will work.

Allow Native Americans religious exemptions for smoking Peyote, as was the case in Washington State. But seriously, when the time comes that we have to add laws beyond the Constitution to protect freedom of conscience, America is pretty deep in the ditch.

Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iran should stop torturing their citizens (without that insane liberal qualifier that they should just stop torturing their gays).

RE :”America is pretty deep in the ditch.”

I will be honest, I haven't seen so-cons make really good verbal public (like on TV) cases on these LGBT issues, and Republicans seem happy to just abandon the issue if they think they can.

Typical arguments are “God says its wrong” or “I don't believe in it”

Those have little chance of success in todays secular society.

Its almost like court, need to make the case that others are getting hurt by it.

Aids held this off for a long while,

Yes. In most of Colorado, such bodies of water are man made reservoirs with creeks trickling into them.

That was lost in the 1960s however I am sure that the blacks who fought those civil rights battles say gays as perverts at the time,

Refusing customers service because of who they are or what they do outside of the business has no chance of flying, however refusing service for how people act inside the business (store) or refusing certain services to everyone regardless of who they are is where the battle should be fought.,
