Aw, that doesn’t matter, just collateral damage for failing to accelerate the scope of social justice that still has to meted out.

Keep in mind that the City of Madison, apart from the rampant liberalism of the University of Wisconsin campus located there, is itself a citadel of progressivism, from the mayor Paul Soglin, who has been in the job for going on decades now, all down through the city council and the municipal courts, and reflected in how the order is kept on the streets.

Paul Soglin was originally from Chicago, and he fancies himself a very reform-minded civic leader, reflected in his early association with Bill Ayers, and the Weathermen. So any failures of leadership in Madison may be traced back to the prevailing mindset, which is to protest, largely for the excitement it provides to otherwise bored and somewhat mediocre students at the UW-Madison campus.

If you want to find somebody to scapegoat for this uproar, start with Paul Soglin and the Madison city council.

Yep. And the CANCER is spreading to the outlying areas. I voted today. There was ONE Conservative on the ballot - Judge Daley. Everyone else I had to choose from was a Leftist running for office in, ‘The People’s Republik of Fitchburgistan’ ten miles south of Madistan.

If you’re in Dane County, there is NO escape. I cannot WAIT to get out of here.
