Probably a stupid question, but given the recent excitement over graphENE, I wonder if they’ve looked at that vs. graphITE?

Graphene is only able to be produced in microscopic amounts and is as yet hugely expensive.

There’s been incredible excitement over graphene for more than a decade. It provides plenty of money for researches, but close to zero commercial products.
