After Whitewater, Travelgate, Filegate, Sandy the burglar Berger stealing documents from the National Archives and
Bills dalliance with Monica Lewinsky, political reporters got a bit lazy because they had to sit back and wait for the next scandal to break. The cascading Clintons always served one up.
Some reporters I know openly yearn for a return to the Clinton days. They miss remarks like what then-Sen. Fritz Hollings of South Carolina said when Bills poll numbers were falling. There was no reason to worry, Mr. Hollings said, because, If they reach 60 percent, then he can start dating again. The joke illustrated the big difference between the Clintons: Bills scandals were for the tabloids, and Hillarys for the business page or the police blotter. His were perverse fun, hers not so much.
Now that the former senator and secretary of state is about to declare her run for the presidency, happy days for political reporters may be here again.
Hillary Clintons email scandal is perfectly consistent with how the Clintons have always done business: control, conceal, mislead, deny, cover up and admit only what you must. The only possible purpose for creating her private email system was to prevent federal record keepers from archiving her emails and all those reporters and historians from getting their hands on what she wrote and did at critical times.
Rep. Trey Gowdys House select committee investigating the Benghazi attacks has, so far, frustrated its own mission by failing to pursue the elements of the attacks that serious investigators would. Mr. Gowdy has now

She’s EVIL, not ironic.
Ironic? I'm more inclined to use words like 'gratifying', 'hilarious', 'wonderful'.
No one’s going to vote that old has been (would have to insert about a 100 word description to be accurate but rest assured “lying”, “alcoholic”, “carpet”, and “conniving” are in there somewhere) into office.
Didn’t want to get banned...: )
The Washington times is wrong. A closed door meeting allows Hillary every opportunity to speak candidly while making it much more difficult for her to pull of a VRWC and partisanship witch hunt.
Gowdy did it right. Issa was a putz.
The way I see it, if Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather were to come back and do the CBS Evening News like they did circa 1973, they’d pay considerably less attention to this email server issue (and downplay Benghazi and other related things concerning Hillary) compared to their favourite target at the time. But Richard Nixon? Hey, that involved the break in and the taped phone conversations (as well as Alger Hiss and Peace With Honor and having the Viet Cong by the balls at the Paris Peace talks in 1971 in the background). They and their media elite friends could not stand to see Nixon’s successes and they wanted to destroy him politically.
You got it half right, Issa is a putz, but we will have to wait to see if Gowdy gets it right.
I'm rooting for him but I'll reserve judgment until I see the results.
Agreed. So many targets, so few hits. Waiting...
Everybody knows how to do this better than a former prosecutor.
Here’s an idea. Maybe Hillary actually committed some crimes and this isn’t just political.
You have to be thorough. You have to give her every opportunity to confess. She is going to run her Presidential campaign as a victim. Gowdy doesn’t want to give her any help.
Good old Jed (”going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordion”) Babbin tells it like it is.
Here's why. Let me explain. Gowdy is smart..very smart. And he knows that the reason all the other GOP led investigations have failed.."Fast and Furious", IRS/Lerner..etc..is because the MSM have all but ignored them. The ONE way to get the MSM interested and involved is to dent them access..Watch..the MSM will soon demand the transcripts be released...( or they'll get leaked)
These are all good questions that should be asked one at a time not as a multiple choice group so she can pick and choose which one she wants to play Ring-Around-the-Rosie with. Grill her hard with the question at hand and don’t let her change the subject, move in another direction and put a stop to her when she does. MAKE her answer the question asked not some BS story that she has predetermined to answer. Don’t make it easy, go after her like they would a criminal in a trial (which she is and this should be). Otherwise it is just another dog and pony show of which most people with any credibility are getting sick and tired of.
NEVER underestimate the STUPITY of the American people and VOTE FRAUD for the DEMOCRATS!
Best political advice EVER!
Thank ya....Thank ya....Thank ya Very Much!
