The reporter was being PC and willing to uncritically ingest any narrative that would recertify her mindless allegiance to an interpretive framework that will destroy your mind.
The real victim is the reporter and her “other-directed” characterological makeup; a sad and infantile craving for approval, the tragedy of a person who needs to read the face of others in order to verify their own acceptibility.
