Nice Good Friday event......
The Big A, reminds me fondly of my youth spent at the track. Saw Secretariat run there along with Kelso and a host of other champs when you could only bet at the race course you were at.
Saw Hoist the Flag run there in his last race before injury. Could have been the finist horse I ever saw run.
More than you think

in a church between two candles,
but on a cross between two thieves,
at a crossroads of politics so cosmopolitan
they had to write His title
in Hebrew
in Latin,
and in Greek.
At the kind of place
where cynics talk smut,
and thieves curse,
and soldiers gamble.
Because that is where He died.
and that is what He died about.
And that is where the church ought to be.
and that is what church people ought to be about.
