I never said the scriptures teach eternal torture - they teach conscious, eternal separation from God in Hell. Jesus clearly taught that it is better to enter “life” (Heaven) with one eye or one hand than to enter Hell. Hell is a place. I don’t know exactly what Hell is except from some descriptions/metaphors - but, I do it is not somewhere I want to go. Jesus took our punishment so that we wouldn’t have to.
I guess we are just ogling to disagree.
So....exactly what is it that folks will be doing for eternity.....once they go to Hell? Just.....sit around...or what?
