I had read that was the case. The first night of Passover was considered a sabbath.

Not sure of the calendar back then. Of course it all gets shifted around to coincide with a lunar calendar.

Just a thought as we share with Passover again.

Actually.....Passover (the 14th) is the preparation for the Sabbath of Unleavened Bread (the 15th).

[Leviticus 23:5-6]

Passover is the 14th day of the first month (Nisan) which precedes the first full moon (the 15th) after the Vernal Equinox. There is no shifting..........
