Is CR on CRack?
This is race baiting because they didn’t talk much about the reason why they were stopped. 1. a white person was driving and was stopped, so how could this be a race issue 2. one was stopped because if tinted window (no idea what this means)
So in every case, there was a reason for the car to be stopped that’s not related to being black
The fact that he doesn't mention this particular stat tells me all I need to know.
I guess he need to watch Chris Rock’s “How not to get your ass kicked by the police!” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR465HoCWFQ
The facts are very clear that blacks, who are not violating any traffic laws, are pulled over frequently. Especially if they are driving a nice car.
It’s not imagined. It’s not just in their minds. It happens. It has happened countless time to friends of mine.
While there are many issues that the black community needs to address internally, this is an issue that shouldn’t be dismissed as hearsay or being an overblown issue. It’s serious, and if we believe in the rule of law, we should be outraged that this happens.
What was Chris Rock charged with? Nothing. He was just ‘driving while black’ and that is enough to get you pulled over by a substantial number of policemen.
Chris must be feeling his inner Kanye West... w/ Cosby overtones..
I have come to the inevitable conclusion that there are far worse things in the world than racism.
“There is no champagne in the holding cell. None. Oh, there’s sex in the holding cell, but you don’t want sex, you want champagne. And there is no champagne in the holding cell.”
Hey Chris when you get three speeding tickets in one month in a 65mph zone for going 67, 67 and 68 get back to me. Of course this all happened after I had words with a state trooper who had a bug up his ass about me being an Army vet. But nonetheless...
Every time I get stopped, the police officer walk up to my car and says “oh, you are white, sorry about that, have a nice day.”
Isn’t that how it happens with other white folks?
