Republicans are debating whether their path to the presidency in 2016 runs through the blue-collar Rust Belt states, or the demographically changing new South and Sunbelt states. For Democrats looking to retake the Senate, however, the formula is more clear-cut: Win back white working-class voters, or be consigned to a longer-term minority.

Exit polls show that Rust Belt Democrats performed dismally among non-college-educated white voters in these states in 2010. Feingold won just 40 percent of their vote in 2010, five points behind Obama's vote share in the state two years later. In Ohio, Strickland tallied just 40 percent of the working-class white vote in his reelection bid—a 20-point decline from his first gubernatorial campaign. Kirk's narrow victory in solidly Democratic Illinois was attributable to a 33-point margin of victory among blue-collar white voters.

The Dems may hit a short dip in their popularity while they wait for Obama’s illegal aliens to reach voting age and get bussed to the polls to vote a straight Democrat ticket, as instructed.

I am not so sure there’s going to be an election. Bammy is throwing our good weather friends out the window. Think Turkey, Saudi Arabia, maybe Jordan, the Israels, and I think there is a good chance that wall street will crash. You can’t keep the debt on as has it done thru Bush and Zero.
WHY would they have basically BKed us? Lived off the fat of the land and all came from WWII generation. Why would he not want to weaken us? Without money, other than preppers, who would be with us? You don’t think the LEO’s and Armed Forces would be with? The S.S and the DOH$ to just name a few, all have SWAT teams now. I just remember I just thought about RR and Bush I. Service economy and all that. I remember talking to someone about it and I asked them, “What are we going to do, just sell insurance to each other?”

But then, so do Republicans. The only difference is that they start out a little to the right of the leftists, but still considerably left of center.
White people need to realize they have no place in the democrat party, which hates them.
Upper income whites are switching too... they just don’t share the ‘unPC’ stuff with pollsters.
The Republicans have been wasting their time chasing black votes. By increasing the percentage of whites votes, the Republicans will win every election.
It is already moving that way. Soon, peope. Won’t be able to tell the difference between the Democrat Party and the Black Panther Party.
Rpublicans need to target conservative Asians, Blacks and Latinos.
Seems like some people read my tag line after all. Let’s hope that Republicans start doing it too.
