ISRAEL WARNS OF ‘MILITARY OPTION’ AS IRAN TALKS DRAG ON
Breitbart National Security ^ | 2 Apr 2015 | by JOEL B. POLLAK

As talks over a nuclear deal with Iran continued past self-imposed deadlines, Israel’s intelligence minister has warned that the military option is on the table–and noted that Israel does not need U.S. cooperation to carry out a pre-emptive strike.

According to the Times of Israel, Intelligence Minister Yuval Steinitz told Israel Radio Thursday: “…if we have no choice we have no choice… the military option is on the table.” He reminded listeners that Israel had attacked Saddam Hussein’s Osirak nuclear reactor in 1981 without help from then-President Ronald Reagan (who actually condemned the attack).

Israel is serious — and not playing political games as this “administration” is. Dangerous fools.

Jean Kerri is delaying the end of these Swizzerland talks for some reason not apparent to me. There is no deal beneficial to the USA on the table.

Iran must realize that to their benefit sanctions will be lifted and their economy will prosper. Click one incentive down should be unless you knock it off we’re going to bomb the crap out of everything we even think might be nuclear.

But what is Israel to do when the Marxist mobilizes our military assets against such an operation? Does anyone have any doubts that the Marxist would do that?

• With all this going on, and with the US President behaving like a malicious thug, why don’t we hear a peep out of the UK, France or Italy?
• Did “O” hypnotize them into the same kind of paralytic coma-the way he enthralled and stupefied the US Congress …. and to the same state of abject inertia?

Certainly, whatever is critical to ME stability will affect the UK, France and Italy, before it does us.

Long time ago this was discussed here on FR. Actually, (and I am sure you will be soooo surprised) this was the fault of president Carter.

During the last couple of years of Carter's presidency the Israelis had gotten more an more worried about Saddam's nuclear program. The US admininstration knew exactly how worried the Israelies were, but of course Carter had pressured them to do nothing before the election. Carter lost and a new more Israel friendly administration took over. What the Israelis did not know, was that despite the fact that this was one of the more important foreign policy questions at the time, the Carter adminstration did not inform the incoming adminstration about it at all!

One must remember that most of the talks between the US and France, and the US and Israel had taken place outside the public glare.

Thus, when the Israelis did what they had to do Reagan was very surprised, and the Israelis were very surprised that th enew US administration appeared surprised.

Eventually it was cleared up....

Just do it. Hopefully they have what it takes to get rid of the facilities, seeing as they’re underground.

Keen memory in such matters can be a blessing; don't remember knowing this factoid. Thanks.

Isaiah 17:1 - Woe to Damascus; it has been taken away from being a city, it has become a ruinous heap.

I wonder if any of those stockpiles of nuke stuff (owned by Iran) are stored anywhere near Damascus ..?????????

Just sayin’

I believe, hope, that if Obama took any military action against Israel for protecting their own country, our own people would rise against Obama....

“…if we have no choice we have no choice… the military option is on the table.”

I wouldn't blame them for defending themselves against the butchers. It's a shame the way oboma has stolen all peace from the world.

"Woe to any nation that goes against my people, Israel."
It's true. Anytime we do something to harm Israel, something bad happens to us. If this nuke deal of Hussein's goes through, expect a lot of shaking in California. That's where our punishment will start - but not end. It'll just be the beginning of our woes, because oboma will have set the entire globe up for destruction.

BTW, those who want to bring chaos and cause the end of the world are Sunni. Oboma was raised a Sunni. Now think about what oboma has done to the world. He's doing the same thing as ISIS, except he has acquired enough power to do it with a pen and a phone.

How long before the Islamists start launching boats full of American weapons to Southern Europe?

Actually they cannot get to the underground facilities. The only option they have is to kill the entire population of Iran. That is what Obama has forced them to do. Kill millions to save themselves. The Iranian people must rise up and overthrow their government to save themselves. As must we Americans.

First Strike: The Exclusive Story of How Israel Foiled Iraq's Attempt to Get the Bomb

From the single review:

....Shlomo Nakdimon has captured the political story behind this operation: the years of futile diplomacy and negotiation, during which the Israeli government attempted in vain to warn the United States and Europe of the impending danger of a nuclear armed Iraq; and following the raid, the months of condemnation and the arms embargo that Israel endured for eliminating this threat. Shlomo Nakdimon's account provides an essential record of these events, and a warning against complacency in the face of a dictatorial madman. While not as riveting as Dan McKinnon's account of these same events, which is told from the pilot's point of view, the political story told by Nakdimon is perhaps of more enduring value. It is sobering to realize how many world leaders knew of Saddam Hussein's nuclear ambitions, but failed to react....
