I’ve never been to a wedding that featured pizza caterers. Do they dress up in tuxes and work as servers? All the pizzas I have seen at parties was either picked up by the party goers or conveyed by a delivery man. Whether it’s a Scout meeting, a drunken frat orgy, or a wedding, it’s all the same—some pimply faced teenager dropping off boxes at the door. So I don’t really see what the big deal unless they are being asked to be a part of the ceremony. Just sell the pizzas and don’t ask what they are buying it for.

Thank you for posting that follow up article. The story makes more sense now. I don’t doubt that they are seldom called on to cater any weddings, gay or traditional.
