He says the AR bill doesn’t mirror the federal law, as he had hoped.

He's just now reading it?

He is caving to the pressure and finding an excuse to not sign the bill instead of doing the more embarrassing thing of vetoing it.

He says the AR bill doesn’t mirror the federal law, as he had hoped. He wants them to recall it and change the language.

If it is going to mirror federal law, then why is it needed? Why not just default to the federal law, since federal law trumps state law.

The GOP has really thrown Christians under the bus this week.

For years, I used to wonder how any true Christian could vote Democrat. I’m now also wondering how any true Christian could vote GOP.

From what I understand SCOTUS ruled the federal law only pertains to federal cases, not the states....hence the states enacting their own RFRAs.

True that. But I’m torn as to what to do. If fade and exercise no real political influence then the GOP is freer to keep sliding down the slippery slope. Do we stay and fight or do we stay home and pray? The current batch of GOP “leaders” remind me of those puny European countries that conveniently sided with Hitler during his reign but then switched sides when it was obvious who was going to lose. Watch these creeps gravitate towards conservative dialog when the tide starts to shift as the election nears.
