Indiana law draws Republican White House hopefuls into the culture wars

The national debate over an Indiana religious-liberties law seen as anti-gay has drawn the entire field of Republican presidential contenders into the divisive culture wars, which badly damaged Mitt Romney in 2012 and which GOP leaders eagerly sought to avoid in the 2016 race.

Most top Republican presidential hopefuls this week have moved in lock step, and without pause, to support Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R) and his Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which has prompted protests and national calls for boycotts by major corporations.

In Arkansas on Tuesday, Republican legislators approved a similar measure that Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) is expected to sign. The action prompted the chief executive of Arkansas-based Wal-Mart to ask Hutchinson to veto the bill, saying that it “does not reflect the values we uphold.”

Faggotry from pink journalistas in gay newsrooms exposing their hypocrisy by ignoring the other states and nations where such laws exist.

This is such an EASY arguement to win, I have no idea why gutless conservatives are running for the hills.

A business shouldn’t be FORCED to serve someone they dont want to.

It’s as simple as that.

The owners of Ebony magazine shouldn’t be forced to run KKK ads and the Christian/Jewish/Islamic owners of a photography studio shouldn’t be forced to take pictures of sodomites pretending to get married.

Considering Pence's pathetic performance on this I have to agree with the author. He cant explain what his own bill is for.

Wow, nice to see Sen. Cruz standing by his principals! I hadn’t checked his Twitter feed in the past couple days and was wondering if he’d make a statement on all this... A brave man for sure.

It was the primary reason Barry Goldwater voted against the final incarnation of the civil rights act but modern “moderates” take the easy route and lump him in with the racist democrats.

He correctly predicted that the civil rights act in the private sector would be a disaster. Today the left uses it for an ever growing list of “minorities”.

Asa Hutchinson had better sign the the bill into law if he knows what’s good for him. Wal Mart can go pound sand.

Face it, liberals frankly believe in freedom for me! but not for thee!

They want to deny entry to :

soldiers wearing their uniforms
citizens carrying their legal licensed firearms
any group with “white” in the name
people who wish to pray
heck, even people who just want to say Merry Christmas!

But they want to deny the right of anyone who disagrees with them to reciprocate!

TO HELL WITH THEM!

They’re running because the corporatists are sleeping with the sodomites. The “debate” I saw on ESPN was 5 minutes of bashing the law with ZERO rebuttal. We live in a fascist state now.

I think this whole thing is so sad. I would say, 99% of Christians would have supported civil union legislation, abhor employment discrimination and do not want to see any harm done to homosexuals but because the gay activists, spurred on by this administration have been SO successful painting those people who oppose gay marriage as bigots, we have become so divided. The gay activist cheer Obama but don’t seem to be aware of his role in expanding the Islamist caliphate in the middle east. They should know, Obama does not love them...he just has a blind hatred of Christians and Jews and sees this moral war as a tool to persecute Christians Same with the false narrative of Trayvon Martin and Ferguson. He wants us to hate each other because he knows if divided, America cannot stand

Liberals want the separation of church and state.

Progressives want the complete elimination of religion.

Another thing that's clear to me -

Undoubtedly there are plenty of progressives. But. So many busybodies, blindly and thoughtlessly, follow the Narrative. Without question of what they've been told, all just to show their “open-mindedness” to feel good about themselves.

SO MANY lemmings. And thus we arrived at this stage (Obama two-terms).....

Liberal musicians are going to have to shelve their lawsuits the next time they think of sending “cease and desist” notices to Republican candidates for playing their songs at campaign rallies.
