Iran is using the same tactics as Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany to expand their empire, former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director James Woolsey stated Monday—by reviving imperialism through ideology.
“They are doing it on a highly ideological basis,” Woolsey said in an interview on CNBC’s Squawk Box. “They are an imperial power and trying to become more of an imperial power.”
As such, he added, “given Iran’s aggressiveness and the fanaticism of its leaders, I don’t think we can do a reasonable deal with them. They’ll cheat.”

Sunnis are 100% as bad as Shiites. What we are doing is working on behalf of the sunnis in their sectarian war with the Shiites.

All Sunni. Shiites are bad, but objectively, Sunnis are more of a threat to us. Its certainly impossible to make a case that Sunnis are benign and Shiites are evil.
Also, for fun, the explosion in American mosques is Saudi Sunnis, paying for the expansion and for jihadi materials. Shiite mosques here are almost unheard of.
But the Saudis are stampeding us into eliminating their rivals.
Remember in the 80’s the Iran-Irag war where the Irains were the bad guys. Then the Irag war where the Irags were the bad guy.
ISIS is just another Iranian sock puppet, either way, just like the Muslim Brotherhood and its outgrowths. If Saudi Arabia shared Iran’s eschatology, it could have had nukes sooner than they had and started WWIII already.
Also, if Sunnis are “more of a threat to us”, then why is Obama hell-bent on giving Iran nukes?

And the only reason Obama wants an Iranian test is so he doesn’t have to talk about it anymore. His game is to stall until a test, and then throw up his hands and say “too late”.
Also, I suspect he thinks it is somehow “fair” since the Sunni bomb is in Pakistan, and the Israelis have a bomb.
God only knows what Obamas thinking is.

The main reason they want a nuke is the same as every other tinhorn dictatorship. It makes you invasion proof.
Had Saddam or Khaddafy had a deliverable nuke, we would have never attacked them.
The whole world knows that’s the best insurance policy you can have against regime change.
And that is also a big reason Obama doesn’t mind if they get it. He likes when countries have a magic shield against us.
Despite all the bluster, the Iranians aren’t about to nuke Israel. Israel has an arsenal of about 200 nukes. This puts them in the UK, France, China arsenal size. If Iran gets a few and dares to use one, there wont be anything left of Islam and everyone knows it. No Mecca, no Median, no Iran at all, no Damascus, no Cairo, no Islamabad Pakistan, none of it. All vaporized.
Mutually assured destruction really does work. The supposedly suicidal Iranians and others are about as suicidal as LEADERS in Hamas, Hezbollah, and the PLO. They will recruit and send suicide bombers out all day long. However, they never seem to get around to strapping on the suicide vest themselves.
Funny how that works.
Iran wants nukes so they can use them offensively. MAD does not and will not work on them.
Of course they are puppets of Iran. Ignoring the relationship between the MB (including Hamas) and ISIS (formerly Al Qa’eda in Iraq) really distorts the picture.
The Sunnis as represented by Saudi Arabia could have gotten nukes ages ago and started WWIII. They do not share the Twelver belief in the need to send the world into nuclear chaos in order to induce a so-called “Twelfth Imam”. Denying that Iran has this goal is the same as calling Netanyahu a liar and agreeing with Obama.
Make that “in order to induce the appearance of a so-called ‘Twelfth Imam’,” that being the Twelvers’ false messiah.
Not even lukewarm national socialists like Nasser wanted to go as far as Iran does, just to restore the Caliphate that was broken up over the course of two world wars.
