The US-led world powers and Iran Monday, March 30, entered the last tense hours for a nuclear deal as though Lausanne was on a different planet from the Middle East, where the Yemen war, in which Iran is deeply involved, abruptly scooped up a power outside the region, Pakistan.
A high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday reaffirmed Pakistans firm commitment to supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia. Among those attending were Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Defense Minister Khawaja Asif. The Defense minister leads a Pakistani military delegation arriving in Riyadh Tuesday.
The Islamabad communiqués did not specify the types of military support Pakistan has pledged to its Saudi ally. debkafiles Intelligence sources report that the Pakistani army is preparing to airlift a large force of several brigades up to a complete division to Saudi Arabia.
Our military sources note that Pakistans decision to intervene in the war against Shiite Muslim Houthi rebels presages the Yemen conflicts expansion to ground and sea operations after four days of heavy Saudi air raids.

A mushroom cloud over Yemen? Shaboom! No more Houthis..except the ones who glow in the dark.
A complete division possible. Them Saud’s got some friends that can bring it.
Not to worry. He will just pull out his Nobel Peace Prize and everything will calm right down. Move on, nothing to see here.
What could possibly go wrong?
lol Oh, that’s right. They gave a Nobel Peace Prize to a maniac determined to blow up the world. I forgot.
Along that line, if only 50% of this is correct...
surely there is a Hellfire with Qassem Soleimani’s name on it ? Let the IAF quietly join the fray . They are good at picking off certain individuals .
Aircraft in desert pattern all look the same . Remove the stars and they could be from anywhere .
I'd rather see a mushroom cloud over Mecca.
This could get very bloody.
“commitment to supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia.
Maybe the Pakistanis are not willing to cross the border into Yemen.
A previously unthinkable scenario might develop - Saudis doing their own fighting!
Naw... Someone will take the check. Egypt needs money.
Maybe there was a reason Obama was golfing with a Halliburton Exec. A lot of things might get blown up, say like, oil rigs.
DEREK PRINCE, en English Philospher that became a Christian Minister, often made mention that the Biblical way that God delivered his people Israel many times was by turning the enemy into confusion, causing their to be a division and they would slaughter each other. Looks like this is happening again, and thus the Lord delivers His People.
Obama has attempted to isolate Israel, but has succeeded only in isolating Iran.
Though completely inadvertent on Obama’s part, this could turn out to be a good thing.
Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, have not only aligned, but have mobilized against Iran. This is a major development.
Big defeat looming for the Houthis in Yemen, and by extension, Iran.
Perhaps even bigger, the Arab coalition’s interests now align with.....Israel.
I keep thinking about the Iran Iraq war and Iran did not back down. They have the bodies and the mentality and it went on forever.
“A mushroom cloud over Yemen? Shaboom! No more Houthis..except the ones who glow in the dark.”
Interesting turn of events. Maybe this is why Valerie Jarrett,err... Obama wants Iran to have a bomb. Not to bomb Israel but to ensure MAD with the Saudis who could very well attain a bomb from Pakistan.
“lol Oh, thats right. They gave a Nobel Peace Prize to a maniac determined to blow up the world. I forgot.”
Now that’s irony.
Me too.
The unintended isolation of Iran, the rise of the Sunni coalition against Iranian (Shia) interests, and the fact that Iraq is largely Shia may unite Iran and Iraq in a way no one will like.
Remember, Saddam was Sunni, a decided minority in Iraq, and Shia Iran wanted to depose him. Now we have a very different situation.
If there is a regional war, it could possibly line up as the Sunni Arab coalition (plus Israel?) against Iran and Iraq.
Also not impossible for Iraq to align with the Arabs, instead of the Persians. Close call this one.
I’d rather see a mushroom cloud over Mecca.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You may well get your wish .
