How many private contractors are doing jobs that the military was once responsible for? I doubt that those private enterprise contracts cost less than obligations to those who serve would.

He can’t without Congressional Approval, and that would be nearly impossible even with a Dem Congress.....................

No
Gut it.
Turn it left.
Make it irrelevant and cheap on all fronts.
Punish those who have served.
Make it Godless.
How many more points of logic do people need?

It is one thing after another with this regime. You can hardly catch your breath.
Congress needs to catch its breath and impeach this president NOW!

First - How about ending all retirement for elected federal officials.
They are always bragging about “Public Service”.
Let’s make it just that instead of a career sucking the government teat until they die.

He cant without Congressional Approval, and that would be nearly impossible even with a Dem Congress............. Constitutionally he can't do most of what he has done without Congressional Approval. But he has gone ahead and done it anyway.

It’s a shame that enough Dems won’t step forward with the GOP majority to support the turkeys impeachment.

The gall of the p_resident, to even suggest a reduction in Military Benefits as a solution to future expense!
A soldier, sailor, marine or airman puts in 20 years and is told that the pension we promised you for putting your life on the line is up for grabs?
Let's start with ending the lifetime pension that a congress critter gets for just serving one term as short as two years.
Then clean out the over staffed offices in Washington where people do NOTHING and get paid well, at least twice the pay of the average GI.
WASHINGTON IS FULL OF WHITE COLLAR WELFARE RECIPIENTS WHO ARE MILKING THE NATION'S TREASURY! THE FEDS ARE THE PROBLEM!

When he supports a 20% cut for EBT/SNAP cards, maybe we'll talk.
Until then, he can shut his pie hole.

what about the politicians get cuts in their payments. Crooks like Hairy Reid, Piglosi and so forth, instead of pensions how about a penal institution.

I think pensions should be abolished. People should be paid up front for their work or service, an amount sufficient to enable them to save for retirement.
One reason we have so much cowardice in the military and in the government in general is the government ability to threaten people with loss of their pension.

Any reduction in military retirement pay, should have the same per cent age applied to all federal and government workers. No exceptions. If it is good for the military. Then it should be good for the government.
Listen for the screams!!!!
