No. Won't happen. Too many conservatives cling onto the Republican party -- their own form of Battered Conservative Syndrome.
Listen to the die-hards: 'we can reform the Republican Party from the inside.'
They have been saying that since Reagan was president. Look how leftward the Party has leaned since then.
But, they will keep voting for the same and expecting a different result.
