Have they sued the movie theater for not having metal detectors installed? Of course they would have to put them at every entrance and exit. And station a person with each detector at all times. Who would easily be subdued by someone with ill intent.

Yes, the "ammo" was as responsible for the massacre as a pencil is for misspelling words.
Morons!

That is kinda like suing a gas station for selling gas that was put in a car before an accident.

A few years back there was a huge fire at a nightclub in Providence,RI.About 100 people were killed..many of them kids.It soon became known that the owners of the club were broke and had no insurance. That,of course, meant that there were no obvious people to sue.A story then came out that some filthy lawyer had the idea to sue Royal Dutch Shell (yup, the huge oil company) because they had sponsored the tour of the band that was appearing that night.
And lawyers wonder why Americans have more respect for used car salesmen than for them.

Good news.
I hope the ammo companies didn’t have to spend any money for defense. Or maybe they got reimbursed by the plaintiffs for the frivolous lawsuit.

The parents of a woman killed during the Aurora movie theater shooting lost their bid Friday to hold ammunition sellers liable for the attack
What next sue Firestone because the car that ran your child down had those tires on it? The ammunition had no more to do with your daughters death then the tires on a car that hits a child. A sick human being took your childs life.

They should have sued the theater for failing to protect their daughter or denying her the ability to protect herself.
The same is true of any school shooting victims.

Good. Sorry these people lost their daughter, but they are using her death to either enrich themselves or to hinder Second Amendment rights. They can go to he!!.

People need to be careful on these “slippery slopes” set up by the greedy, shyster lawyers. They would love nothing more than to be able to sue oil companies for supplying the gasoline put in cars involved in fatal accidents. Greed is an ugly thing.
