I watched a show where they drove across Siberia (and Mongolia, and some of the ‘stans), and some of the highways are truly nightmarish. It was a real adventure.
A modern highway Moscow to Anchorage would be a game changer.
Right now, there is the highway from Alaska down to Seattle. Maybe we could instead, with the Canadians, build a highway from New York to Alaska. Now that would be some trip. New York to London the other way.
