Yinon Magal: Likud Purposely Stalling Coalition Talks [Netanyahu & Israel]

Incoming Jewish Home MK says that Netanyahu keeps raising the bar for the coalition - in hopes of forming a unity government instead.

Incoming MK Yinon Magal (Jewish Home) heavily criticized the Likud on Friday, saying that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu prefers to form a government with Labor-Hatnua, despite multiple promises both before and after elections.

"I think that there has been a spin here from the first day of [coalition] negotiations," Magal stated in an interview Friday morning to Army Radio. ''The Prime Minister did call [Jewish Home chairman] Naftali Bennett first [after the elections - ed.], but since negotiations have begun, [progress] has been slow. The Prime Minister met with Bennett twice and didn't offer him anything."

"[Netanyahu] didn't offer anything," he said. "There is a spin Israel Hayom is putting out that we were apparently offered the Education portfolio, and that there is internal competition over it. This is nonsense; there was nothing, they didn't offer us anything."

Magal accused Netanyahu of making the coalition demands so high that Jewish Home will be forced to back down - paving the way for a unity government.

This keeps resurfacing over and over again, in the news, and from different sources ... so here it is again ... this one from the Jewish Home, Naftali Bennett's party.

But, who knows ... because Benjamin Netanyahu isn't saying. We'll find out whether Netanyahu is going to work with the Zionist Union (whom he beat in the elections) or not ... after all the negotiations are done!

Sources Say Talks Are Stuck After Bennett-Netanyahu Meeting [Israel]
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3272881/posts

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Jewish Home chairman Naftali Bennett met on Thursday evening as part of the coalition negotiations.

A source involved in the meeting told Arutz Sheva, however, that there has been no progress in the negotiations between the parties and that, unlike Netanyahu’s meetings with leaders of other parties, he did not speak with Bennett regarding the details of the make-up of the next government.

The meeting comes amid ongoing tensions between the Likud and the Jewish Home over the coalition talks. On Wednesday, a source told Arutz Sheva that Netanyahu is planning to form a unity government with the Labor party and leave the Jewish Home in the opposition.

The members of the Jewish Home are furious at Netanyahu for his failure thus far to keep his promise to appoint a Jewish Home member to one of the three key ministerial portfolios - the Foreign Ministry, the Finance Ministry and the Defense Ministry. Earlier Thursday, Bennett warned on his Facebook page that “the prime minister is planning to bring in Buji/Tzipi so he is skipping us. He also retracted his remark that he will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state and is renouncing all his nationalist obligations.”

Its a Uniparty world we live in with the major parties becoming one everywhere. The “Right” and “Left” differences turn out to be noise to win votes at election time......
