Sen. Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., who suffered a serious eye injury while exercising in his home in January, announced what a lot of conservatives have been waiting with bated breath to hear: He’s not seeking reelection.
He’s served for about three decades in Congress and has been one of President Obama’s biggest defenders on several of the White House leader’s key agenda pushes.
“I understand this place,” he said, the New York Times reported. “I have quite a bit of power as minority leader.”

I will always wonder about his “exercise” injuries. Really caused by a malfunctioning treadmill or pulley design on equipment????

Last time I heard his injury mentioned they called it “well documented”. Who says that about something that really happened?
Popular GOP governor Brian Sandoval has been talked about for this Senate seat. Could be a GOP pickup in 2016. We’ll see.

Sadly, operative word-——should. But, you now they won’t. He’s just a sad pathetic old man so somebody will have mercy. Or grant a blanket pardon for all the “good” he’s done for this country. You know the game.
Reid is a lefty in the Senate, but he apparently never got in the ring with a lefty. That or he forgot how to duck.
Someone should have punched him in the eye years ago if that was all it takes to get rid of him.
