I rarely fly for the reason I don’t like putting my life in the hand’s of someone else.
This pretty much ensures I’ll never fly again. If you wanna fly, “go for it!” Not me......
I think it should be made public that if you choose to fly, you should know the background/religion f your pilot(s).
Just my $.02......
Me, too. When I was a kid my dad (a private pilot) always said that you could trust the pilot and feel safe because the pilot wanted to go home safely, too. That was then....
Some of us have to fly either for business or for family.
The US has fairly tight rules. I know because I was given the once over recently by the TSA at Charlotte Airport. But did I mind or whine or complain? Only when I was asked if I were a gun advocate, to which I replied, “I’m a Second Amendment advocate. But I sure don’t have any such weapons on me.”
Otherwise, 2 hours from my flight, it was all good.
Agree. I’ll pay extra for a Michigan to California trip via Amtrak. I don’t care what the statisticians say about flight safety. Survival rate of ground transportation is much higher compared to falling out of the sky from 30,000 feet.
