House Committee Issues Subpoena For EPA Chief’s ‘Deleted’ Text Messages

The top Republican lawmaker on the House Science Committee issued a subpoena Wednesday to compel the Environmental Protection Agency to produce text messages and phone records for administrator Gina McCarthy.

“Because EPA has refused to provide a complete production of records in response to the Committee’s repeated requests, I am left with no alternative but to issue a subpoena to compel you to produce, among other things, unredacted cellular phone billing records and e-mails relevant to the Committee’s oversight,” Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas wrote to McCarthy in a letter sent out Wednesday.

Republican lawmakers have been trying to obtain McCarthy’s text messages and phone records ever since the agency admitted to a federal judge in October that the texts may have been deleted. At the time, McCarthy’s texts were being pursued by the Competitive Enterprise Institute, a libertarian think tank.

There will be alot of executive privilege, redaction, and delays involved, of course.

Good, If you defy a Subpoena from the other 2 branches of Government, they will LOCK YOU UP ON THE SPOT!

Let’s see if our Impotent squishy congress can muster up the courage to take their job seriously by exercising the Authority Inherent to them in the US Constitution.

Congress has ALL the power in washington, the executive and judicial branch operate according to the whims of CONGRESS!

Congress can Remove the President
Congress can remove the head of every executive agency
Congress can remove ALL of their employees
Congress can Abolish every agency they so choose
Congress can remove EVERY JUDGE IN AMERICA, including every supreme court justice.
Congress can abolish every federal court except the supreme Court
Congress can decide which cases the Judicial Branch can hear and decide
CONGRESS can Imprison ANYONE they want for any reason they so desire for as long as they wish.
Congress can declare WAR

No other governing body has even 10% of the power CONGRESS has!!

CONGRESS IS ALLOWING ALL OF IT!!!

Congress has the authority to arrest and imprison those found in Contempt. The power extends throughout the United States and is an inherent power (does not depend upon legislated act)

If found in Contempt the person can be arrested under a warrant of the Speaker of the House of Representatives or President of the Senate, by the respective Sergeant at Arms.

Statutory criminal contempt is an alternative to inherent contempt.

Under the inherent contempt power Congress may imprison a person for a specific period of time or an indefinite period of time, except a person imprisoned by the House of Representatives may not be imprisoned beyond adjournment of a session of Congress.

Imprisonment may be coercive or punitive.

A subpoena means nothing to these corrupt people ruled by Jarrett and BO. They just laugh. They can, no one has gone to jail for anything.

If congress didn’t let the Kenyan run wild for 4 years perhaps this kind of crap wouldn’t be happening. Boehner and McConnel are directly responsible for the utter mess we’re in.

Time for states to give EPA Nazi personnel 24 hours to leave state territory or face arrest and 20 years minimum imprisonment.

Interesting.

Here is something to consider: I know a guy that works in the EPA in DC. He and several of his colleagues are now receiving Top Secret clearances. Top Secret?

Top Secret nformation means unauthorized disclosure could result in exceptionally grave danger to the nation. EPA info. . .needs a TS otherwise release of some EPA information "could result in exceptionally grave danger to the nation"?

Whaaaa?

Anyway, he has worked for the EPA for over 30-yrs and never needed a TS before. Why now? Could it be the EPA is playing defense, going to classify documents and discussions as TS, thereby making FOIA requests and Congressional subpoenas that much more difficult?

Possible. . .

It is time the Republicans grow some gahones and subpoena the Hildebeast’s hard drive too.

While I am thinking of it, it is time to call Obama in for a mental evaluation for fitness of office. The Twenty-Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution comes to mind.
