Huge difference in coal emissions between new and older coal plants.

The Japanese ain’t fools... well.... aren’t THAT foolish
Unlike US who are complete fools shutting down green coal plants so China can open dirty ones and then not developing Molten Salt Reactors so guess who is developing them now.... CHINA....
