Bowe Bergdahl describes Taliban captivity for first time after desertion charge

Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl described his five years in captivity for the first time on Wednesday in a statement released by his lawyer.
Sgt. Bergdahl, who was charged with desertion also on Wednesday, said the Taliban allies who were holding him kept him in near isolation, chained spread-eagle to a bed, CNN reported based on the statement.
