Men in Black.
“who said the State Legislature had relied too heavily on race in its 2012 state redistricting by maintaining high concentrations of black voters in some districts. “
I thought black politicians want that.
ok then spread them out among all the districts and they will have NO representation!
Seems to be you can’t win!
group them together so they can elect one of their own to represent them... NO FAIR!
spread them out so they can never have a reasonable chance of electing one of their own... NO FAIR!
sorry, but you can’t have it both ways!
What ever happened to being color blind?
USSC siding with racists? Where did we see that before . . . ?
then can this be applied against corrine brown in florida?
It’s strange.
The Party of Martin Luther King was the Republican Party.
So, when Republicans are in power, you’d think that getting an “R” elected would side with MLK’s stance.
Isn’t is strange that judges and liberals just assume that blacks will be Democrats?
What will be said if Rep Sewell loses her seat because of a diminished number of minority voters in her district.
Let me see if I have redistricting straight.
1) Democrats win, they redistrict as they please.
2) Republicans win, redistricting is thrown out by judges, Democrats redistrict as they please.
Am I close?
A massive undertaking now needs to take place in Alabama. Tens of thousands of white conservatives now need to migrate to these newly mandated districts to vote. Or would that be called “unconstitutional” by traitor Kennedy?
Lame.
