Without US cover at UN, Israel could face diplomatic avalanche
The Times of Israel ^ | Wednesday, March 25, 2015 | Raphael Ahren

It would have been unthinkable just a few short years ago for the White House to consider furling up the diplomatic umbrella it had used for decades to shield Israel at the UN.

But even as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has attempted to do damage control for a series of recent controversial pronouncements, reiterating his support for a two-state solution and apologizing for his election day anti-Arab rhetoric, Washington seemingly remains determined to “reassess” its policy vis-à-vis Israel and the Palestinians.

This could mean that Washington will hold back from vetoing a French or Jordanian resolution calling for the creation of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 lines with land swaps.

The EU and Obama keep LYING about Netanyahu, trying to fool people into thinking that Netanyahu does NOT support a TWO-STATE SOLUTION. But, the fact of the matter is that he does, per his Bar-Ilan speech of 2009, and he has affirmed it in the last few days, too!

Obama and the EU want to use this LIE that Netanyahu does not support a Two-State Solution in order to use their LIE as a hammer and get SANCTIONS AGAINST ISRAEL passed!

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained, after the election, that he did not abandon Bar-Ilan and/or the TWO-STATE SOLUTION!!

Obama is making up several issues ... which are really “non-issues” ... and are for only making “political hay”! Obama wanted to get rid of Ambassador Dermer, because of the arrangements made through him (with the Speaker of the House) to have Netanyahu give a speech to a Joint Session of Congress. That really fired up the political opposition to the Iran agreement that Obama is trying to push through, and therefore Obama was looking for some “payback” ... namely “get rid of Dermer”!

And in regards to the other issue, and Obama accusing Netanyahu of being against a TWO-STATE SOLUTION ... that’s just an outright lie from Obama.

Obama is making this out to be REAL BIG ISSUE and is throwing a Temper Tantrum over it, even though he knows it’s TOTALLY FALSE and it’s a LIE that he’s telling the American public. Obama is hoping the FOOLS in America will believe him and not Netanyahu, when Netanyahu says he STILL supports a Two-State Solution, per Bar-Ilan.

The reason why Obama is making this out to be a big issue, is that he wants to “use it” to abandon Israel in the United Nations (by refusing to block UN Security Council Resolutions against Israel) and in the future by implementing sanctions against Israel.

As Obama knows very well, and as Netanyahu has made clear repeatedly after the election ... Netanyahu has not abandoned his Bar-Ilan policy speech regarding his support for the Two-State Solution.

Obama is trying to take a misunderstood campaign blurb and turn into a major policy reversal. It’s no such thing and Obama knows it!

This is what I said regarding what the Liberal press and Obama are doing ...

— — —

This a FALSE statement from the press and from Obama. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has REPEATEDLY sought to correct the mistaken impression that he does not support a TWO-STATE SOLUTION.

He does support it and he says that he has maintained that same support ... going back to his Bar-Ilan speech, when Obama first got into office. He says his position in support of the Two-State Solution has not changed since then.

What it is ... is that the liberal press and Obama want to hammer on Netanyahu no matter what ... and they’ve picked up on a LIE that Netanyahu does not support the Two-State Solution.

Here’s Netanyahu’s support for a Two-State Solution from what he has been referring to in the last several days to COUNTER THIS LIE!

The look on her face combined with her “graceful” posture is just hilarious :D

Oh God, how did they end up on our White House? HOW, HOW, HOW!?

Obama Says US Considering Support of Palestinian State at UN [Netanyahu & Israel]
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3271959/posts?page=1

JNS.org – President Barack Obama said at a news conference on Tuesday that the US is considering the possibility of supporting the unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state through the United Nations as part of his administration’s ongoing re-evaluation of relations with Israel.

Late last year, the US voted against a Palestinian-initiated resolution in the UN Security Council that called for a Palestinian state with borders based on the pre-1967 lines. The measure garnered eight affirmative votes among the 15-member Security Council, falling just one short of the nine votes it needed to pass.

Obama on Tuesday continued his recent criticism of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the aftermath of the latter’s re-election, saying, “Netanyahu, in the election run-up, stated that a Palestinian state would not occur while he was prime minister. And I took him at his word that that’s what he meant.” Obama made similar comments in an interview with The Huffington Post that was published last weekend, despite the fact that Netanyahu has reaffirmed his support for a demilitarized Palestinian state that recognizes a Jewish state.

“Afterwards, he (Netanyahu) pointed out that he didn’t say ‘never,’ but that there would be a series of conditions in which a Palestinian state could potentially be created,” Obama said Tuesday. “But, of course, the conditions were such that they would be impossible to meet any time soon.”

Obama is creating a CONTRIVED SITUATION ... that does not exist with Netanyahu. Of course Netanyahu supports a TWO-STATE SOLUTION, just as he’s confirmed in the last few days, per his Bar-Ilan speech, as far back as 2009!

This present situation is Obama LYING about Netanyahu (who hasn’t changed since 2009) in order to have a CONTRIVED EXCUSE to make a MAJOR POLICY CHANGE for the USA.

In the past, both Israel and the USA have supported a Two-State Solution by way of “NEGOTIATIONS” between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. NOW ... Obama wants to abandon the USA’s long-standing policy, and have the Two-State Solution “by DECLARATION” ... which means that nothing will be required of the Palestinian Authority, and they would not be required to sign off on the fact that all problems are solved, as they would have to in the Final Status Negotiations!

The real problem here, with this issue ... is Obama. We’ve had the same UN all along, but we’ve also had Presidents who blocked these kinds of UN Security Council Resolutions against Israel. But ... now ... we’ve got Obama!
