JERUSALEM (CNN) Israel did not spy on closed-door talks over Iran's nuclear program involving the United States and other world powers, an Israeli official said Tuesday, denying a Wall Street Journal report.
The newspaper reported late Monday on its website that Israel had obtained confidential information about the negotiations to help it argue against a potential deal.
"These allegations are utterly false," the senior official in the Israeli Prime Minister's office told CNN. "The state of Israel does not conduct espionage against the United States or Israel's other allies."
The Israeli government's use of the information it allegedly gleaned -- sharing it with U.S. lawmakers and others to undercut support for a deal -- was what really angered the White House, the Journal reported Monday, citing current and former U.S. officials.

Are you F-ing kidding me, after Obama spied on the world he had the nerve to make this an issue?
Bibi should tell Obama to go F himself.
I’m sure Israel did, but so what? This is like reporting that France doesn’t like us. Talk about a master-of-the-obvious non-story.
Israel should ask Obama “Are you still spying on us?”
In fact, I would be very disappointed in Israel if they weren't spying on Obama. Their very survival is at stake here.

Israel on Tuesday vehemently denied claims that it had spied on the U.S. during the Iranian negotiations, as reported earlier by The Wall Street Journal.
Official in the Prime Ministers Office called the allegations utterly false.
The State of Israel does not conduct espionage against the United States or Israels other allies. The false allegations are clearly intended to undermine the strong ties between the United States and Israel and the security and intelligence relationship we share, they said.
Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said Israel had not received an official complaint from the American administration over such claims and that there is no way, and there was no way, that Israel spied on the Americans. That is seriously forbidden among every level of Israels policy leaders.
Israels security-intelligence relationship with the U.S. has suffered no harm, someone is just trying to stir conflict, Yaalon said. Its a shame that such winds are blowing into the clandestine channels in which we conduct this relationship.
If you’re telling me I should believe Obama and his team that Israel did spy ... versus ... Israel saying that they did not spy on the U.S. ... SORRY ... I’m not about to believe the proven LIAR Obama!
To quote former Israeli citizen “They would say that, wouldn’t they?”

They will also deny that they had anything to do with the mysterious explosions that will soon be occurring at the Iranian heavy water plant or the intractable problems with unbalanced centrifuges.
For Israel to have spied on the US, considering who occupies the WH, is a matter of national survival.
Israel didn’t have to spy to know they were being sold out by the dipstick in chief. They heard it from a much higher source.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. The fact is, every ally spies on every other ally. Everybody and their dog knows this. This is nothing but the lapdog media dutifully reporting any and all gripes that Zero has with Israel. This story is like reporting that water is wet and lettuce is green.
Of course they did. We know because we spy on them. The faux outrage is a joke.
“Im sure Israel did, but so what? This is like reporting that France doesnt like us. Talk about a master-of-the-obvious non-story.”
Of course they spied, everyone spies. And the operatives that fed them information probably didn’t even know where the Israeli Embassy is when the “talks” started. But then they FREAKED OUT over what they saw him giving away to Iran and felt they had to do something.
