The Obama years will be forever known as the Dark Ages of US history, a time of political, cultural and economic deterioration. We have yet to see if they will lead to the fall of the American republic.
In the Obama years, the lie became not only a campaign strategy or a means to enact damaging policies, but an institution of government; the Presidency itself, a lie of monstrous proportions guarded by the complicit and the willingly ignorant.
In the Obama years, the Congress finally clearly demonstrated that although we have elections, there is no longer a government representing its citizens, but an entity serving itself, operating outside of Constitutional constraints and unaccountable to the American people for the benefit of the few at the expense of the many.

“the Presidency itself, a lie of monstrous proportions guarded by the complicit and the willingly ignorant.”
Best reference I’ve read about the birther issue in 6 years.

I’m thinking that if a few high-profile Congresscritters were made examples of by their constituents—a tarring and feathering video posted on YouTube, for example—the rest would come around pretty quickly.

It is futile to have regrets that
Obama behaves as Obama does or
Pelosi behaves as Pelosi does or
Reid behaves as Reid does.
You don’t blame a dog or a cat for behaving the way they do.
They are what they are, and they behave as they behave.
The real problem is “our fellow Americans” or “We The People”
who think that Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are “good” ideas.

The Obama years will be forever known as the Dark Ages of US historyMore like a skid mark... Progressives have a way of bringing everything to a halt and leave a nasty trail behind them.

Make no mistake, it started in 1992.

Yes I suppose it is possible that a Warren regime could make us yearn for the good old days of Baraq.....

I shudder to think of the possibility of further decline under Elizabeth Warren and those who may come after her. The day may come when the Obama reign is known as "the good old days".

The real problem is our fellow Americans or We The People
who think that Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are good ideas. By the same token are misguided because they have been misguided. The solution is to enlighten them.
We have knowledgeable people who can lead the way. However we are prone to infighting which has been our Achilles tendon. Until we solve this issue, the Marxists will divide us with ease.
