How did the TSA Precheck process go? Husband and I are thinking of doing the same.
Other than finding the place (Port of Stockton, CA military police, restricted entry, the whole nine yards), very smoothly. Fair warning, they do NOT have a sense of humor.
I may be able to get my KTN, "Known Traveler Number" on line, before the card arrives. I travel Mar 29. The receipt says "TSA will notify within 45 days," but some complete app numbers have been posted on line within 3 days.
I assume the earlier the better! Mine is a suddenly planned trip.
