Eh...I just like knowing from here on out that Cruz is going to be a thorn in a few people’s sides.

Cruz graduated cum laude from Princeton University, and magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. It's a shame so many voters are inexperienced, stupid, and dumb enough to believe the mainstream media. Unlike the current occupant of our White House, a media-proclaimed "smartest man ever to set foot in the White House", we actually have the records needed to evaluate Cruz.

Sarah Palin can also speak like Cruz, without teleprompter or notes. I like them both.

I often come back to reflecting on Franklin's "A Republic, Madam, if you can keep it." Rush's way of saying that is at the end of this article, when he says "everybody can have an excuse, everybody, if you want to blame somebody else, you can do it." And John Adams said, "Liberty can no more exist without virtue and independence than the body can live and move without a soul."

The Doctrine of Negative Rights, upon which our freedoms stand, requires the People to be virtuous. The only role of government is to protect that virtue. It ws invoked by the Founders because they had the courage to accept a fundamental truth - that government doesn't create anything, especially morality or virtue. Rather, God gives those things to each human being, to do with as they please.

That's why the Left uses schools to pound out virtue by literally punishing it, and rewarding nihilism. It is a vicious, brutal, searing rape of what education is supposed to be. It is the aggressive and violent destruction of the mind and heart, in order to create frightened, damaged, weak cowards who will grow up to seek masters to control them. Achieving that alone is what the Democrat Party has become. It's not just the enemy of freedom, but the enemy of humanity itself. Its true goal is not to rule, because it cannot rule - it can only destroy.

And that's what liberals have in common with Muslims. Islam is the Democrat Party in another form, doing the same thing to its people - psychologically and emotionally brutalizing them from childhood, until by the time they are adults their minds are filled with nothing but hatred and death.
