Illegal immigration awakens gut reactions, and voters should despise any pandering to illegal aliens out of fear of losing elections or appearing racist or uncaring. With all of the talk about the DREAMers and Deferred Actions, when will our leaders care about Americans born and naturalized, and the American Dreams that they pursue and want to see come true? Surely the needs of 310 million legal residents outstrip the 11 million in the shadows.
In 2008, I supported outlier candidate Congressman Tom Tancredo for President, even though he had a gringos chance in Guadalajara of winning the GOP nomination.

Even when the New York Times demonized Walker, and illegal immigration activists still pressured him about reinstating in-state tuition for illegals, Walker stayed true to his decision in 2011, and ignored pleas to reinstate the misguided and immoral program.
Again: Walker neither pandered nor caved to illegal immigrant activists.
While Bush called illegal immigration An Act of Love, Walker joined Texas Governor Greg Abbotts lawsuit against Obamas executive overreach. Jeb courts the Chamber of Commerce. Walker makes the rounds in New Hampshire, South Carolina, and in Tancredo territory, too.

Bill Kristol for instance was just a hipster throwing out platitudes about immigrant dreams and wonderful immigrants back in 2006. He saw it destroy G W Bush. Probably also saw the liberaltarians pushing open borders so he started to question it.
Jeb is a true believer and thinks he some sort of globalist messiah to hispanics and others with his political views. Like Obama.
(fixed it for ya)
Cruz is on record as to having supported a pathway to citizenship (amnesty) and supports unrestricted legal immigration and increasing H1-B visas by 500%.
Walker’s record on illegal immigration is stellar.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Please say that ain’t so.
Walker is on record for deliberately choosing pro-amnesty corruptocrats to work on his presidential campaign. And he has a horrible record in Wisconsin of pandering to the Chamber of Amnesty there by not cracking down on the job-stealing illegal invaders in the Cheese State who work on dairy farms, in restaurants, and on construction sites.
“Shadows” is one of those words that tell you to be cautious in what you read.
Anything you say about Walker needs to be verified. You were caught in a lie a few days ago and still haven’t come clean on it.
They ALL are for a "pathway to citizenship". The only dif is some want a secure border trigger prior to that happening. That's Cruz and Rubio. The rest want the mythical "comprehensive plan". Walker was for this before he wasn't Hopefully he's seen the light.
What lie? News to me. But you are on record hating my anti-Walker research that exposes his Blue Dog Republican ideology, so what’s new? Are you a Blue Dog Republican, too?
Secure the borders.
Enforce ALL laws on the books.
Deport the illegal law breakers.
Walker is a pathway guy who wanted a Mexican consulate in state, and cannot be trusted, he’s part of the good ol’ boy Wisconsin crowd with Reince, Ryan, and the rest of the GOP
trying to hoodwink Republicans on amnesty.
Cruz has defied the establishment and fought for rule of law.
The progressives want open borders to change America so fundamentally that we can never get back to the Constitution.
Bush is a fat faced blob that never hit a lick in his life. He is an illegal alien loving weak kneed wussie. I intend to give Walker every opportunity to get this right but I’m pretty sure he will fail my test.
Cruz is on record of wanting more H-1B visa numbers.
And I agree with him.
None of the candidates are for that, including Cruz. Might as well adapt to it, because that is the reality. Unless of course you choose to live in a make believe world which does not exist. If I throw my hat in the ring (which I won't) every law breaker will get adequate punishment commensurate with the crime.
Here are a few comment from the recent past from Walker regarding this country killing, history changing violent illegal invasion, amnesty etc.

In 2013 Walker acknowledged the dependency of Wisconsin farms on migrant workers, many of them illegal.
Walker argued against currently onerous challenges for workers to come to the United States legally.
Walker: “If people want to come here and work hard and benefit, I don’t care whether they come from Mexico or Ireland or Germany or Canada or South Africa or anywhere else,” Walker told the editorial board. “I want them here.”
Walker, According to the Daily Herald, during his 2010 gubernatorial bid he said he would support legislation allowing police to stop those they suspected were illegal immigrants. Two years later, he no longer supported such a bill.
At a February 2013 national conference hosted by Politico, Walker said fixing the legal immigration system should come first, but said the next step is we “gotta embrace” a “legal pathway” for those here unlawfully. He did not elaborate on what he meant.
In a July 2013 interview with Wausau (Wis.) Daily Herald staffers, Walker said “it makes sense” that people could not only stay here but get citizenship with the right mix of penalties and waiting periods and other requirements. — In 2013 and later, Walker didnt endorse any specific bill in Congress that would have allowed illegal immigrants to stay here. But at the Politico conference, he didnt dismiss legislative action if some “nuances” were addressed.
At that conference he flatly opposed deporting people who are here unlawfully, saying “youve got to find a way to make it legally possible for people moving forward.”

I believe it’s impossible to have such a sudden sea change in his position after 4 decades of open borders chaotic violent lawlessness. All sponsored by government BTW.
No sale IMO.
What could possibly be the motive for this massive change of position?
Could it be to save his own political butt?
Have we all not seen all this before?....Over and over...etc.
Love Ted Cruz but I am disappointed that he wants more H-1B visa foreign workers.
Preach it brother
In 2011, right after getting elected Governor, Scott Walker banned in-state tuition for illegals and has not caved to the protests and harassment that resulted. That doesn’t sound pro-illegal immigrant to me.
“In a statement, Gov. Scott Walker’s spokesman said: “Individuals who do not reside in our state legally should not be getting taxpayer subsidized tuition.””
