That is nonsense, look at the thread topic, it isn’t about siding with the democrats who are homeless, or their fellow democrats of the Catholic church, it is about what this church did, and how they did it.

The church has already admitted their mistake about their illegal plumbing system, and are getting a legal permit to remove it now, they haven’t explained why they deliberately did not put up warning signs though.

Christians are supposed to be like Jesus, and be ready to give the Gospel message in season and out.
The church should sell a painting for a couple of million and hire more staff. They seem to complain that they don't have enough staff to shoo the dirty smelly sinners (you know the people that Jesus loves) away.
Have at least one person at each door to let the people who shelter there in and give them something to eat. Maybe a little bread and wine?
Perhaps because of the kindness some would become Catholics.
Who knows, one or two may get his/her life together and become so successful that the person would give a couple million to the church.
Maybe if they saw it as an eventual money maker they would consider my idea...better than selling indulgences.
