Conservatives Blind to Racism, says RedState Seer
American Thinker ^ | March 17, 2015 | Colin Flaherty

Why?

Why can’t conservatives see that black people are relentless victims of relentless white racism, all the time, everywhere, and that explains everything?

That is what Rand Paul and his acolytes at RedState want to know.

Why are Neanderthals like economist John Lott unmoved by a recent Department of Justice report that said white police are picking on black people for No Reason What So Ever? Most recently in Ferguson, where even Bill O’Reilly bought into it.

Rand Paul has been preaching the gospel of racial victimization to anyone who will listen. He even went to Ferguson to let them know too many white cops catching too many black criminals is proof positive of a racist system.

We are “blowing it,” said Leon Wolf at RedState.com, speaking of conservative chances to break the liberal stronghold on black sympathies. Wolf says it is all because of “societal sickness caused by excessive partisanship that makes us unable to see” the truth of white racism and black victimization.

And that is why conservatives are silent as black people are arrested, convicted, sentenced, and carted off to prison in numbers that are wildly out of proportion to their privileged counterparts who happen to be white or, God forbid, Asian.

Even out of proportion to other black people who are immigrants from Africa.

Black victimization, of course, has been the mantra of the president, attorney general, Little League moms, activists, college professors, congressmen, reporters, and others for the last six years.

In a recent interview with Ebony magazine, the president said we have to start giving black people the “benefit of the doubt.” And we have to recognize that white racism is a “subconscious” thing that is deep rooted, hard to spot and does a lot of damage.

Riiiiight.

Teaching Black kids that all of their problems stem from racism, instead of teaching them to take control over their destiny, has nothing to do with the high crime rates and low levels of academic success among American Blacks, does it?

I see... whites are automatically racist, no matter what. Gotcha!

And this sort of Cr*p is why I don’t care any longer. The race card for me is way, way overdrawn and I decline to accept it any longer.

You know, it’s funny but I don’t give any of this any thoughts what so ever. I treat everyone the same. I’m sure there are some out there that do differently, but I know only a few. I think the funniest experience I have had (I’m 1/2 Mexican and 1/2 Irish) was a guy at a party in San Francisco asked me what’s it like being Mexican living in California today? He was a White guy and most likely a liberal. I was perplexed. I replied what’s it like being White in California today? he frowned and walked away. Weird.

BOR contends he's Independent, but he's really a closet Liberal ... and not that much of him is in the closet.

When blacks were slaves Republicans saw it - and elected a President who freed them.

When blacks were living under Jim Crow Democrat rule in the South Republican passed civil rights legislation.

When black ‘leaders’ morphed into thugs Republicans saw it and started dealing with the truth.. one more time.

And once again democrats fought us...

You'd think that every once in awhile progressive victims of all colors would complain about this:

Racism, like every other progressive cause, is an article of faith, not fact.

You don't question it, you bow your head and accept it.

Whats surprising is so many non-progressives worship at this alter.

And then the pure of heart black Attorney General came down from Mount Obama bearing tablets with these words chiseled in stone:

"The Neanderthals and white police pick on black people for No Reason What So Ever"

Blind to racism? I’m pretty sure we all knew exactly what Holder meant when he talked about “Taking care of my people.”

Because it’s easier to say “racism” than to say “give me more free stuff.”

I know I’m being stupid, but this whole red state blue state crap is a media creation. One election, they colored the states in red for Republicans and blue for democrats. Before that, red was the color of communism, and they deftly assigned it to conservatives. It really should be the other way around. The left of today is red, they will spill your blood for their cause. Conservatism is blue, calm and safe. By coloring liberalism blue and conservatism red they connote goodness and badness to the wrong sides. I don’t think that we should employ their designations for us. Better not to ever say red state or blue state at all, and maybe we can de-fund their meme.

I agree with you 200%. That is a pet peeve of mine. It had to be a democrat strategy implemented in cooperation with the MSM.

I think it came about in 2000 or 2004 on election night during the Bush elections.

Here in VA, the republican campaign signage was almost always blue.

I wish we had jumped on the band wagon and seized our conservative color (blue) back.
