Most if not all American blacks are partly white. I dabble in genealogy and see a lot of shocked black people wondering why they have such high percentages of “white DNA.”

Quite possible. Some Black people I grew up with are related to the Ramapo Indians, aka "Jackson Whites", they're a mixture of African, Caucasian as well as some Lanape, Munsee, Tuscarora and other tribes. Technically, they're TRIracial.
