If I sold this place today, I could probably get $300,000 for it, if anyone is crazy enough to buy. Last year, the county said this lot was worth almost a million, My recommendation is take your loss and sell now... I don't see things getting better any time soon.

A million, or a quarter of that? Can he get a fair appraisal today? Because if he is forced to pay taxes as if he works in Paradise, that alone will make continued occupancy financially foolish.

All he has to do is wait a year or two, then he can sell it for $1.

“county said this lot was worth almost a million,”
