The last time Labor ruled, Barak tried to divide Jerusalem and surrender 80% of what Arafat wanted, under pressure from Clinton. Arafat wanted 100%, which is exactly what Herzog will give the Arab Nazis if elected. Pray for Israel. Please.

I guess I just don’t understand how people can be
swayed by economic promises when they face a threat
to their very existence.

threatening to unravel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s governing coalition

The coalition already unraveled. That's why there's an election two years early.

If Netanyahu was really so terrified of the outcome, he would have made a government with the Right instead of with Livni and Lapid.

Keep in mind that this “threat to their existence” has been ONGOING since 1948, and they’ve fought many wars over it and they just got through with Hamas and all their rockets.

SO ... when your entire lifetime (of the voter) is an ongoing and never ending threat to their existence ... there will be voters that start thinking of merely “living” in the meantime. And these other domestic issues in Israel have to do with merely living.

Well, I understand that. We even see it in this country.
Normalcy bias, and people are used to what has become
normal.

I think Israel will rue the day they vote the liberals
in and Bibi out.

Ams Israel Chai.
